Eastern Bank  and Dhaka Bank Limited: Risk Based Analysis of Mortgaged properties

The default loan culture has developed in the banking sector of Bangladesh at an alarming rate and in some cases the authorities miserably failed to stop the growth. But as Banks are the custodians of depositors’ money they must pay back the money on demand by their clients and depositors and they must be careful about the recovery of the loan. In this regard the security against the loan delivered must not be at risk of recovery in the case the party become defaulter. In this context Eastern Bank and Dhaka Bank Limited appointed AHKC to analyze and report the risk factors of the mortgaged lands of different parties regarding legal ownership, valuation, measurement, possession and other ancillary factors.
